CHRISTMAS IN WONDERLAND DAILY RUSHES

- Must be business as usual over at the set of Christmas in Wonderland, with director James Orr working overtime to make it a wrap with stars Patrick Swayze and Carmen Electra by June 1.

All we’ve heard is that Carmen took a ride on the Mindbender and loved it.

- Carmen Electra: Just who is she? Other than a few seasons on Baywatch and her breakthrough as a Playboy pinup some time ago, she’s made her name by being in the media - with a short-lived marriage to basketball bad boy Dennis Rodman, an affair with rocker Tommy Lee and another marriage to rocker Dave Navarro.

But we’ve all heard of her. Maybe this family film is the launch of her post-sex kitten career.

- For a low-budget film like Christmas in Wonderland, ($10 million versus an average $60 million) having Electra and Swayze as recognizable names on the marquee will at least garner pre-opening media exposure. And if the show’s any good, it’ll go from there. Be fun if the movie turned into a Christmas hit.

- The film still needs extras, lots and lots of extras. “Thousands,” says publicist Joshua Semchuk. “The scenes are on Christmas Eve at West Edmonton Mall.” For more info, go to westedmontonmall.com
